Does any one how to make a tapered beam so that it starts at W12x12 at one end and taper down to W12x8 at the other end with the top remaining level?

Quiller...you sure made me smile! Thanks so much for the tapered column file... I just have to modify it for tapered only on one side and voila! Just wanted you to know that I really appreciated you sharing this.
