Arn't plan regions just supposed to change the view range of a portion in the plan? I ma working on a project where I created a plan region for a part of the plan to be able to set the cut plan to about 8'-0". The rest of the plan has the cut plan at 4'-0". The problem is that the rooms and room tags withing the plan region start showing errors and revit says "Room tag is outside the room." I dont understand why changing the cut plane would cause any change to the room tag.

I'd just raise the height of the room objects to be cut within the plan region. If the room isn't being cut in the view the tag can't identify it right. Create a section, turn on the room fill and investigate the cut plane vs the room height.

It is funny thought. I would think Revit should be able to pick up the volume of the room on it's own. Any room height more than 8'-0" has to be manually adjusted as by default it assigns 8-0" height to the room and not upto the bottom of the ceiling/floor.
