Hi,I would like to take out the quantity of the painted surfaces in a project. I have considered using the "paint" tool and pain all the surfaces. However some of the wall are not painted all the way to each floor partition, because of suspended ceilings. Whats the work around that? Or do you have any other suggestions?

You would have to use the split face tool to paint the correct area then use the materials take off. If all of your walls are the same, you can build your wall type with a split in your finish face at a set elevation.
