When you streitch a grid bubble, they change on all plans accordingly. Is there a way to stretch them independantly view to view? Say on the floor plan I want them further away from the way and on a RCP I want them closer? I don't necessaraly want them at the same location in all plans.

Lev els and grids have a 3D / 2D switch at their ends. 3D setting is all views, 2D is view specific. Click on the grid then the 3D or 2D to switch to the setting you want, then adjust.

I highly recommend this Add-In:
https://apps.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Detail/Index?id=1828199890895811733&appLang=en&os=Win64
This allows you to easily trim/extend grids and levels while choosing to do so in either their 2D or 3D extents. Has been very useful for me and prevents 2D verse 3D issues.
