So CHeck th pic.

My symbolic lines for my window are way down on the floor plane. Do I need to open the family and rehost these to sit on the sill? I thought these were not model lines, but just lines in plan so you could hide the geometry of the window and have a cleaner graphic for the window operation etc...

Am I picking the wrong lines to draw?

Thanks in advance.

Michael

If you can see them in a model view >>>> then they are model lines!

Select them and pick convert.

How can you draw a 2D line in a 3D view?  You can't!   Pick them in the 3d then switch to 2d plan view then the switch will be available.

Unless of course if this is two mulled, nested window families in which case the lines may be in those families.
