Hi everyone,
I was working on a .rfa family when, while i was trying to modify a material (setting the rgb) and pressed "OK", Revit Crashed.
It has happened many times in a row. I tried to restart the PC but nothing, the problem is still there.
I picked up another .rfa file with the same material (Unfortunately I had created that material a few weeks ago and "Saved As" many times, since the families I was creating were quite similar. Now I don't need it and i want to get rid of it or, at least, modify it).
It also occurred that, this material cannot be deleted, modified or assigned to any object.
Is there any chance to solve the problem?
Thanks in advance,
Carlo

In the family can you delete all the materials and start again?Make sure once you delete them, you hit purge three times as the materials will only purge at the third purge.

Is the material assigned to anything in the manage - object styles tool. Make sure you check all tabs and purge again.

Once all the materials are gone save as, close down and open using audit. All materials will have changed now to the default grey material.

Now start creating them again.
