I am trying to get a quality rendering I have building suite  2016 (Revit 16 & 3d max 16). I am proffecient in REVIT. Should I use 3d max to get photorealistic renderings or Revit with Vray plug in. Raytrace & Mental rayin revit  seem to be pretty good.

The file I sent was done in Revit, raytrace high

For Quality and speed use Vray in revit...for a bit more 3d post processing and for further improvements use 3DS max vray..also in 3ds max you can further improve the model if you wish..All depending on your model and your choice.. If you want just for rendering Vray in revit is sufficient.

But if time is your concern and you want quality as well... use a 3rd party program. Artlantis is one such program. Unbelievably fast renders (I mean seriously, max 5 mins for a Full HD Image..lights on or off doesnt matter) and then use Photoshop for a bit of Post processing. This is the best combo if you want to save time and system resources. Also since you claim to be proficient in revit :D ... can you help me in my thread? http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=36312Nobody seems to have answered this. Thanks
