Hi

Perhaps someone can help me here.  I work mainly with areas, rather than rooms, just feels like an easier and more user friendly way to indicate sizes and to do placement.  I now would like to have a column in my window schedule that indicates "from area" in one of the columns.

Anybody know if this is even possible?

Revit has a built in system associated with rooms - NOT AREAS.

This comment "...just feels like an easier and more user friendly way to indicate sizes and to do placement.." indicates you may not understand how to use rooms and room area calculations.

I've been using Revit for quite some time now and know how to use the Room functions quite well, I have just found that the Area function works better for me in the as built environment in residential dwellings.
