Looking for ideas on this one. The client has given us drwings in Revit. We have to revise the interior design and send back for comments. I need to present client drawings and our revisions in one view so they can see the revisions to the original.

The attached sketch shows the 3D drafting view with the client sketch halftone. I have linked in the client sketch into our Revit Central file and edited the visibility graphics. I don't think i represents all that well to demonstrate the differences.

Any thoughts on how to represent this? I have reviewed Design options and phasing. I added filters for color.

I think you need to play around with the colours and tones of the original and new concept so it shows better as currently its hard to tell what is what. It might work better to apply a surface pattern too the existing and then a solid colour to the new design. Also fix that millwork above your fridge :-)

Well no worries they like the locked 3D view. I have created user keynotes and keynote text file that will read the walls. One for the Gipper.

User Menumarmiketin1 thanks for the response. I posted a reply before I read your comments. I would love to fix the millwork but they are client linked models. I will pass on the comment to them. Cheers!!

If I understand the situation correctly I'd say do a 'saveas' to create a duplicate project file. Then open that file and link in the original file. Make changes to the local version and setup the views ro see the appropriate version of either model.
