Im trying to put a brick soldier course angled with the roof in the gable what is the best way to go about this?

A few ways.

1) Create a wall of the correct wall buildup that covers the area and edit the profile shape of that wall (in elevation) to match the angled shape you need in the gable and them create a pattern / render aligned to match the roof angle.

2) Create an in-place family the exact shape and depth shape of that wall to match the angled shape you need in the gable and them create a pattern / render aligned to match the roof angle.

3) Create a family to represent the individual brick and mortar at the angle you want. You can add parameters to increase the brick size and mortar thickness and angle if you like. Import the family and copy it repetitively across the area needed. Ensure the finish of the family is the correct brick finish you need.
