I have two instances of a wall type that contain a parapet profile. I'm running into a snag where the top plane of the parapet is not selectable as a workplane but all others are able to be. I'm trying to create model lines on this plane to represent joint lines. Thanks.

seems to be an issue with the join. Can draw on the plane when not joined, but as soon as joined warning occurs saying that highlighted geometry no longer determines plane. This is unique since, not in the posted file, in the same condition there are multiple joins occuring. Sigh.
