Sometimes you can find out that you have an elevation on the list, but the marker is not on the plan and can't be found. THis happened to me today, so I went to the browser, and decided I was going to delete it off the list and replace the elevation marker. when I deleted the elevation the marker square reappeared on the plan right in front of my face, and then I was just able to reclick on the direction in question. you still have to rebuild the elvation view stuff. but the marker is there. also if you previously duplicated the view you were going to delete, then you cold cut and paste all the notes and info you might lose in the remake of the elevation. hope that helps people.

I had a similar problem recently with a section cut line. I had several sections going through my building and all were visible in plan and elevations except for one. Turns out the section marker was set to only show at scales smaller than 1:10 and since my plans and elevevations were all set at 1:100 it was not showing.

Yeah. that one is one reviters learn early I think. Someone posted a great post that was all about finding lost objects. it was like

-check hide.

-check hide at scales coarser than..

-check anno crop.

etc...someone should stick that one too. this post about trying to find the lost elevation mark is a special case I think. sometimes like finding a level bullet mark that disappeared.

Good luck!
