From what I've found so far, when you create a truss family, it keys the depth off the center to center of the chords and you can only have one diagonal size. What I need to be able to do is have the depth of the truss key off the top of the top chord and the bottom of the bottom chord and preferable have the depth to be different at each end. I also need to be able to have the diagonal member size vary along the length of the truss. For a horizontal structural steel truss, having the truss go in by centerlines makes it not very useful. If there is not a way to build a family to do these things, does anyone know of an add-in that can be purchased?
Thanks.
John
