Hello,
I have to load a new titleblock template (non Autodesk) inorder to transfer scale (A0) dwgs into a scale A3 titleblock.
I notice that annotations placed on top of the existing dwg can be copy/pasted across simply enough but anything drawn within the viewport can not.
Is there a way to transfer the dwg within the viewport in an Autodesk titleblock into another generic titleblock?

All views are easily moved sheet to sheet. An even easier process is to swap the sheets. In other words, open the sheet, click on the sheet and under type, pick your other titleblock.
For the method you are trying to do, if you had placed this CAD into a view and annotated it there, you would have no problems.
