I have a typical cross section for lets say a parapet detail. I have exported the drafting view as attached as an image file. No worries. I have spent the last three hours looking on Google AutoDesk for this answer. Can Revit export components or detail families as an image.

M_GWB Accessories-V Control Joint-Section exported as an image file and if so how can i export multiple components all at once.

No you cannot directly export component familes to image files as far as I know. You can however export muliple 'views' including drafting views to image files. As long as you have a drafting view of the component it works but that might not work for you. And if you check the Create Browseable Web Site it makes a nice little html web page with all the views.
