Found another great source for models!  Some free, some paid.

There's not many sites out there that sell or even give away full revit models.

But there is https://grabcad.com/library/software/autodesk-revit where users have uploaded their work.

Some are helpful.

As a shameless plus I'm building a website to sell some and am just creating the models at the moment. Its www.BIMGallery.com. So watch this space.

If anyone know any others it might be helpful to list them too.

I have a few modelled up and just need to upload them to my website.

I am researching Fallingwater, trying to find scale drawings as I want to do that for a challenge and just put it up there for free.

I am trying to wire into the website an online 3D model viewer but its tricky.

I've attached a couple pictures to give you a flavour of what I am doing

is there a reason why you'd want to buy a model?

Nice one! Thanks WWHub! My greatest challenge now is trying to find scale plans of falling water.

Not sure if you're trolling.... but I'm going to answer anyway....

I believe thee are a few reasons why someone would want to buy a model.

1) Real Clients:They may see a house or building design they like and want to build it themselves. Having the models ready-made, they can take the models to their local Architect and Engineers who can adjust it to suit local conditions such as resistance to wind loading, dead loads, insulation density requirements, materials etc etc. If a model I design and sell appeals to them or needs minimal adaptation, then part of the work is already done in the design, document and build process. This equates to less hours, lower design fees and less fiscal impact on the client. If a model they see is almost what they want, then they may have a need to hire me to amend their model, so it fully suits their needs. This gives me the opportunity to make an income as I am best positioned to know the most about the model and design.2) Students:My experience of freelance work say a demand for students looking to have Revit modelling done for them in order to pass a course they are undertaking. I think this is cheating but I also admit that not all staff in any of the offices I have worked used Revit ( or indeed drew). Some people's career path will be in talking, administrating, overseeing rather than drawing or modelling. We need these people.3) Commercial:There are companies using Revit that do not have the model assets in place to get a good start in the industry. Whether these are contractors evaluating Revit, Trainers needing detailed models for presentations or suppliers needing a backdrop to showcase their products.4) New BIM Users:Some individuals or firms new to Revit modelling, really do not have a clue where to start. Sometimes all they need is an example model to study and see how to bring everything together properly. 5) Developers/ Advertisers:Some investment developers have in-house Revit users in place to slap together fantastic images of multi-unit housing developments or office parks or retail developments. If they can just buy a model and repeatedly slap it onto their site, its a quick end to achieve a Big Sell Signboard image.I hope this helps.

I was going to ask why sell full models too but I never thought about actually selling the entire BIM rather than just plans. I suppose it has it's advantages but a lot of people will have reservations about what feels like giving away proprietary information. Not to mention, who owns the plans to a custom house? The owner (client) or the architect? I am sure someone with a custom house wouldn't be too keen on knowing that someone else could download and buy the exact house they put a ton of time and effort telling their architect to design for them. Just some things I am thinking about out loud....

Anyway, feel free to check out our site for a bunch of modern fams (link below). We have a free section too but most everything is $5 or less. Beau,Are all your families native Revit or do you have CAD imported into some of the families? I am guessing the latter since you have an entire car collection available.
