Hi all, I have a louvre window family which I have been using for several years. I have just upgraded the family and started using REVIT 2016. I have noticed an interesting problem with the family after upgrading to 2016 which is that if I change the width the of the window to exact 900mm the glazing changes from our standard clear colour to a blue glazing even though the material has not changed and in the Windows properties remains as the same material. The only change is the width of the window. To make it even more interesting if the width of the window is either 899mm or 901mm the glazing remains as our standard clear colour. Would be very interested for any theory's or thoughts to fix the problem. Thanks in advance.

Nothing out of the ordinary happening at my end. Using 2016. Your family is using standard OOTB material asset at my end. Non-shared. Have you looked into the Materials Libraries you've got loaded (or not loaded)? Any Errors?

Hmm. That's odd. Have tried this again in a new 2016 project. The material does not change when the width is set to 900mm only the colour of the glass when in a shaded 3D view from clear to blue. What and where should I look for the material library errors? I did a full standard install of Revit building design suite 2016.

Happens to me sometimes too with 2016: Revit Material Library path are suddenly lost or just not loaded (path is replaced with yellow & red error icons). A relaunch quickly fixes it. Don’t remember this with happening with 2015, or any previous version for that matter.
