I am doing a door schedule that contains doors from the linked file as well as the host file. I am trying to add a type text comment sention and it works for the host file but not for the linked file doors. I am assuning because its a linked file and the doors dont exist in the host file thats why you cant add comments to them. Is there any work around to get the comments section for linked doors in scheduled to have a type text comment section.

None that I know of if you want the doors to remain in the link.

Copy/monitor helps across disciplines and it may work for same discipline but .... this would be a real can of worms to manage.

If it is only a couple of places, consider paper space text.  I hate that but sometimes it is your only option.  We try to document this somewhere in the file for future changes.
