Hello,
I am using Revit 2013 and am getting the same problem occurring time and time again in that walls  and some other elements) are not showing up properly in Plan views. In every case so far the 'Constraints' are set correctly and the 'Graphics in View' are as they should be, and Material editor settings are as they should be too.
This particular situation involves areas of walls and some windows 'GREYED' out. The full detail level is there alright but these elements are not of the sharp black lines in the rest of the dwg.
(Perhaps if I just continued with this and printed out in Greyscale - I could achieve colour uniformity this way?)
I really am none the wiser on this so any questioning or advice regarding this would be much appreciated.

Solved it.
Override Graphics > Element in View > Halftone Box NOW UNTICKED!!
