Hi!

I downloaded a Revit family from the Knoll website for a design I am working on. In the family, I changed the fabric of the seating, however the materials do not appear in the realistic views or rendering in my full project. Instead, they are just a flat grey. Is this a Knoll preference, a user error, or is there any way to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Probably user error.  Grey is a default color which means you did not re-assign a material.

REMEMBER - THE PROJECT RULES!  Once a material is assigned in the project to an element (either by loading the family or direct assigning in the project), it can only be changed in the project.

I am having the same problem. Can someone explain the solution here? I've tried to fix in the family, but it won't show up once I put the family in my project.

You need a better understanding of materials and how you apply them.  Also read my post right above yours.
