I have a student that created a title block.  When you open the title block file everything works and is correct.  When you load it into a project the attributes are in wrong location and facing the wrong way.  Attached are two images showing the issue.  Any suggestions of what we are doing wrong?  How to fix it?

Without seeing the titleblock family, we can only guess.

Is this titleblock created in the horizontal format and possibly rotated in the project?

Is all of the text actually Revit text in the family or in the project or is any of it CAD inserted in the family?

Your student has rotated everything tghe incorrect way in the titleblock.  It then still appears to be correct until you load it.

He did this by rotating the text clockwise which Revit then corrected in accordance with the keep the text readible rule.  You can verify this by picking one of the text items and unchecking the keep text readable box.   It will now be upside down.

Look at my image.   I added the "project name new" outside the titleblock and rotated that counter clockwise as you should.

A good teaching moment..............
