Can I bother someone to help me figure why the doors won;t cut through the one course of CMUs on this wall?

I use 2013

Try cutting and pasting them back aligned to the same place.

Oh, so we’re just guessing here? Well then, I suppose my suggestion would be to use the Cut Geometry tool to join the two walls together. 

Edit: You sure the door isn't cutting? From the image you posted it looks like it did. The door looks like it has mirrored inset panels, or it has hollow panels and the interior right wall of your garage has the same finish as your exterior walls.

Thanks for the thoughts.

Funny thing, I came back to it later and all is fine, cut just fine!

This has happened before.

How would I send a RVT file? I thought it was way too big?

Just reduce the content of the rfa to meet the size RevitCity allows for uploads. People post rfa's all the time. In your case, you could have cut and pasted the offending door and wall into a new project, and uploaded that.
