Hi, I am quite new in revit and maybe someone could direct me how to make my wall elements with extension. I added pdf file for better understanding. I know how to get upper extension. I can get it by creating a stack wall type. The question remains how to get the extension on sides as well? Also I would require to change the length and thickness of the extension and the best way is to have grips in there. Should I create a family instead of wall type? But then I cannot describe my wall layers? How would you do this work? Thank you already in advance.

Could you please clarify the orientations of the 2 views shown in your PDF. Perhaps, a reference view showing where the section cut arrows are placed in relationship to the wall, would help explain what we are looking at.

For the vertical "extension" - Watch the video here to learn how to modify your wall - I would not use a stacked wall.  You qould also use a void sweep in the wall definition or in place.

For the "end extension" as you call it, use a vertcal void sweep or create a face based void family to cut your wall.

Thank you very much for the link and response. I got the "end extrusion" done with selecting under component -> model in place and there void form extrusion and then using cut tool. I will try face based void family as well (not sure how to do this exactly at the moment, but now I know what am looking for. Thanks again for directions.
