Hi,

I have a problem with changing the background on a symbol from transparent to opaque.

This 'EXIT' symbol, which is a premade symbol, does not have any options regarding opaque background.

I have tried to place a masking region, but I cannot control in which order the region and lines should appear.

So the region will always be on top of the lines.

I have tried to place the region, and then copy the lines in again, but the region is still on top.

The symbol is too small, so I cannot only choose to make a region in the man, and white fields between the lines.

Anybody who have had the same issue and know how to fix it?

We would have to see the symbol family.

That symbol was from imported CAD and the linework is too small to do a filled region that is opaque.  SO....

  • Create a new annotative family - same category as your symbol and create a masking region that is your rectabngle size.
  • Start another new family and insert the masking region in it.
  • Now copy/paste your linework into this family.
