Not sure which rule I'm breaking, but Revit is having none of it. I have a roof that I created by mass faces and it appears to be fairly clean. But, Revit can't figure out how to hold up it's end of the bargain and attach my little curtain wall to the resulting roof. I know there is some complexity in the slope, but it appears to handle it fine over other portions of the roof by face. Does anyone see which rule is being broken here? Version 2015. Thanks.

Since I don't know what's what in your image, I will guess and say it looks like your CW is not fully below the roof.

Solution: roof by face has to be done in individual sections for segment of curtain wall to attach. Still would like to know why the complete roof by face object doesn't quite work from a deeper level. Oh well. If anyone has insight on this I'd still be interested. Thanks!
