I wanted to add trim to a door family. I got it in there. However, it doesn't move with the door if I size the door. See attached pictures.
I have been moving along really well with my revit. Families and Family editing has been really difficult to grasp or to get any newer material for tutoring online. Any suggestions for tutoring videos?
Thanks for any help.

Try to lock the trims with the opening.

Two ways:
1. See your attached darwing, The trims have arrows, grab one of them, move up/down or left/right, then you will see a padlock symbol. Click on it, then that will be locked in place. You might have to remove the constrains.
2. To add a dimension from the edge of the trim to a reference plane or reference line, use tab to circle the selections. if you want the inside of a trim to be aligned with a reference plane, after you placed the dimension, in this case will be zero, you will see a padlock next to that dimension, then click on it to lock the dimension.
All extrusions, sweeps, forms can be locked by either way.

"Any suggestions for tutoring videos?"
Paul Aubin's videos on lynda.com and his books have been a big help to me. Also, Revit Kid's videos/blog.

You can also use the Align tool under the modify panel. When you align one line or face to another the Lock symbol will show up same as if you do it the way CDWDavid stated. I just find the Align tool works quicker if you are trying to lock several different things.
