Hi all! Thanks in advance for reading!

We had a shared parameter that we deleted from the shared parameter file. We also removed it from all shared families it was applied to... However, it is still a selectable field when creating a schedule. It has been removed from the txt file.

How can I best find the source of the (deleted) shared param? and how best can I remove it?

Revit 2016. Sorry if I did not include any needed info. Send any questions!

The shared parameter file is not linked in any way to projects or families.   It is only a resource for use.   Once loaded into a project through project parameters, schedule or through a family that has the parameter, the shared parameter will still exist.

Once a schedule (shared) parameter is added to a category, it will remain in the project even if the schedule is deleted because it is now in all elements in that category.

You might see if you can delete it from the project parameters list.
