When I delete a mullion in a curtain wall and then try to remove the associated grid line nothing happens. What is the proper method to achieve the removal of the mullion and the grid line? Revit leaves two glazing panels and I cannot insert a door.

Check that the curtain wall does not have a rule in the type properties to create that gridline/mullion automatically. One can set type rules on divisions of the wall horizontally and vertically.

After placement, I like to change my curtain walls to one that has no definitions at all so that I can add doors, adjust spacings etc.
