So my firm is trying to make a parametric mass cube. We are trying to make it possible to change the length, width, and height. We also want to make it possible toto change the shape. We thought that the way to do it would be to draw voids and turn them on and off. We thought a mass family would work and now think generic models would be better. We aren't sure. Our client wants to get hard numbers with feasibility and schematic design, but we are having a hard time getting the mass to change in the way we want it to. Does anyone know how to figure this out? We need a mass to be able to go from a rectangle with no voids to one with them for balconies and entrances to the unit. This is for an apartment building and we need these to be a family so we can manipulate them all. Also, is there a way to pull off volume and area and such for schedules? Please help
