anyone know how to reduce the size of the file when importing revit into viz?
i converted the revit model into DWG and from there imported into viz and the file size is huge.... which hangs computer. i tried to use the file link manager in viz to link the revit file and still the file size is huge.
any suggestions out there?

When Exporting the revit model turn off categories of elements you will not necessarily need that are going to increase the file size... For instance: Furniture, lights etc...
You can also add a scope box only export out the part of your model your interested in by cropping out unwanted info.
