i am designing a 2500 seat hall with a mezzanine. what is the best way to build this? the mezzanine will be stepped for sight-lines and i have heard about difficulties of sloping a floor. my initial reaction is to build it as a stair and drop a ceiling under it to achieve the sloping underside.
any help would be appreciated. thank you

Would have to see it, but due to limitations of attaching objects to stairs i'd probably model an in-place floor, then if file size becomes an issue save out the floor as an external family and load it back in...

What about creating a profile of the floor/ stairs and then sweeping that as a mass profile?

What about building 14 12" thick generic floors, and offsetting the front face 36-42" (the depth of my rows). then dropping in the aisle stairs as a series of single riser stairs? my Mezzanine is only 12-14 rows deep, are there any potential problems to this method?
