Hi,

I downloaded a window type and a lighting system type from this site. They are exactly what I wanted in my model, but when I try to render a view from the interior, no daylight or artificial light is shown and the view is all black. I have the settings for daylighting source and artificial light on when rendering. I think it is because revit doesn't recognize these downloaded elements as windows and lights. Is there a way to change this so that the windows allow light through?

Also the lighting system is the Solatube Daylighting system, which takes sunlight and funnels it through a tube to light up the room.

Thank you for the help!

Interesting. The first thing I'd do without having seen anything is check the window family and its materials. Not sure about the tunneling light tube however. I suspect you mean a revit lighting portal or sorts.
