I am using Revit Architecture 2015, Student Version.
My project is setup as follows:
Level 1: Where all floors, furniture, etc. are located.
Level 2: Some walls that start on Level 1 go up to Level 2
Level 3: Some walls that start on Level 1 go up to Level 2. I also have some clerestory windows that were created using a curtain wall that goes from Level 2 to Level 3.
My ceilings are visible in 3d, but I cannot see any ceilings in any of my ceiling plans.
Visibility settings are correct. I thought the problem were the View Range settings but the only items I can adjust are Primary Range: Top and View Depth Level. Both are set to Unlimited and still no change.
Any thoughts?

Because you are a beginner, we need to ask some questions.
Do you know what a Reflected Ceiling Plan is and how it is done in Revit. It is not just another floor plan. Read your HELP on RCP if you don't understand.

In order for a ceiling to show, it has to be in view, the category has to be on in VG and the ceiling can't be hidden by something else - like the next floor.

Thank you for your response.
I have used the RCP before but maybe am not remembering it well!
- Yes, VG settings show ceilings as "On."
- I don't have any floors except on Level 1. Levels 2 and 3 are only there for my clerestory windows so there shouldn't be a floor covering the ceiling.
- I can see and select the ceilings when I am in the Floor Plans for Levels 2 and 3.
- I look at the drawing in 3D the ceilings appear exactly where they should be with no obstructions.
What I actually want to do is a lighting plan that I can generate from the RCP. I can use the Level 2 Floor Plan as work around for my class project , but I assume I should be using the RCP for this?

DON'T USE A FLOOR PLAN! That's what a RCP is for. A RCP is looking down in plans but with a reflection of what is above. Only what is above the cut plane will show 'reflected'.
You write: "... I can see and select the ceilings when I am in the Floor Plans for Levels 2 and 3....." You should not be able to see a ceiling for a level in a floor plan because it would be above your cut plane.

Sorry the system reposted my last response by accident. The cut plane must be my issue. I will look for directions on fixing this. Thank you!
