I recently purchased the Revit Content Kitchen Family and need some help editing the family while maintaing parametric functionality.  Basically we need to have the frame show between the drawers and doors.  This level of editing requires knowlege of formulas in the family types which is beyond our capability.  We are using Revit 2016 and would welcom any help or recomendations.

I sent DGCAD the file and now I cannot get him to respond.

I could still use some help with my question if anyone has experience with these models.

Please try followings:

1. Open the family, through the properties, chnage to the appropriate dimensions for your project, such as height 34", width 4'-0" and depth 2'-0".

2. Rename it to Kitchen Table 34x48x24, then you can modify the re-named family just like a Model-in-Place Component. After the changes, you can reload it into the project, however this way you might lose all ALL-IN-ONE functions; but at least you can go forward with your project.

3. Hopefully, you can learn how to play with all parameters through the modifications for this perticular ALL-IN-ONE family.

Personally I do not like to work with ALL-IN-ONE families. It's fun to create them, however after a couple months, sometimes even myself forgot how to modify them, that means nobody in the office knows. At that time, I had to put all my work down, and try to modify it to meet the deadline. Now I always create the family in a simpler way, anybody can midify it. And more than that, try to schedule the ALL-IN-ONE families such as  equipment/furniture, it is really a pain.

Good Luck!
