Hi

I have a little problem i hope you could help me with. I need to export a project from Revit to Autocad and therefore also the correct layerproperties. But I can't figure out how to seperate the exterior wall hatches from the interior wall hatches. I use Autocad 2013 and I have also uploaded images of my problem and a picture of my DWG/DXF export setup.

Best regards

Bjoern

not sure it will do what you want as it Revit treats walls as a single object, so everythng in a wall may have to export as only a single layer.

I'll tell you something for free though. If you are working in Revit then that is your preferred medium. If someone is working in AutoCAD then that is their preferred medium. If you needed some digital content and it was originally drawn in AutoCAD, do you expect the author to send you the drawing perfectly modelled in Revit format? No you dont. So why are you wasting valuable resource to export a DWG in their preferred format? Why are you bothering? Just export to DWG in whatever way it comes out and send it out the door. Let the recipient devote valuable man hours to changing all the layers. Its their problem not yours.
