I am trying to find a way to show the top and bottom elevations in our structural column schedules. I can obviously see the base level and offset and then manually enter the base level and add the length to achieve the top level. However, this method means checking and changing the schedule for every column move. The parameters are there for structural framing members with the "elevation at top" parameter.
Is there a way through shared parameters to achieve this automatically? Possibly a way to convert the base level parameter to an elevation? There may be a simple solution or no solution at all but I am stumped.

The problem is REVIT won't report the actual level elevation which is very weird. So you can come close by creating a project parameter for structural columns to hold that value and manually enter that then using that parameter in a fromular parameter in the colunm schedule by adding the project parameter to the Level offset, which it does report. Far from fool proof however. It's funny because if you use a Spot Elevation REVIT clearly knows the geodetic elevation.
