Revit 2015

Tried in different views at different scales.

Creating Filled region in the same view, some work fine, like "Earth", but some show up solid with whatever color is chosen in the Edit Type Properties.  Notably "Gravel" shows solid.

Is this  bug in Revit 2015?

Anyone else encounter this issue?

Thanks!

Model patterns do not scale with the view scale but draft patterns do.   When you have a small scale, some drafting patterns become solid.

Think about it!  If you draw lines against each other you get a solid.

I already stated that I tried in different views and in different scales and that some filled patterns work, in the same view.

For example, "Earth" works and "Gravel" does not.  They are both drafting patterns.

Change the scale of the view and watch what happens!

Go to the properties of that filled region and see if the hatch pattern is a "Model Pattern" of "Draft Pattern".

Like WWHub stated, draft paterns change with scale and model patterns don't.

Obviously, you have NOT read our posts!  This is NOT CAD.  Revit has drafting hatches and it has model hatches.   Please read this then come back if you have a new question.

Can you upload this pattern in question, so we can take a look?
