I am inserting nested massing models into a massing file.  When I insert Revit's standard Gable on Level 1 it comes in fine, but whenever I create new levels and try to place on work plane for the new level the nested Gable mass inserts upside down.  Any help would be much appreciated. I have attached the file.

In the rowhomes family, select gable family and click ‘flip work plane’ - the icon will display when you click on the gable family (dbl arrow with rhombus), or in the gable family, check 'always verical' and uncheck ‘work plane-based’ in the properties. The 2nd option let you choose between placement on a face or a work plane. In your case, the gable family will be always work plane based, so when placing in 3D view, pay attention to the option bar, it will show you what plane it’ll be placed on.
