Hi all,

Please see image

I use the inverted black background for my plan and elevation views as its easier for me on the eyes.

However, its not so good in the 3d views in my opinion. To overcome this, i changed the background 3D views to gradient in the graphic display options, applied the colour white to sky, horizon and ground and then assigned these a 3d View White background Template.

However, the section box remains white. How do i change the colour of it to create a contrast against the white background?

Manage -> Object Styles -> Annotation Objects tab -> Section Boxes category -> Line Color

In 2015 R2 and 2016 you can pick any color for your background. What version are you working with?

We have Revit 2015 in the office but the latest project we are on is using Revit 2014.

…yeah unfortunately, background color selection is available in 2015 R2 or newer.
