Hello

I can't add a total count in the formatting field for electrical families in the schedule. Any ideas? The calculate totals is greyed out.

There are a few 'Total' type fileds in REVIT schedule so you're going to have to clarify exactly what fields you want to total and from which 'Tab' of the scheduling dialog box you are refering to.

There is No 'total count' fiels on the Formatiing tab. There is a 'Calculate Totals' field on the Formatting' tab. This adds 'numbers' and  Integers' from the selected field such as total length or total weight or total volume.

If you want to 'Count' how many elements are listed in the schedule you have to make sure the 'count' field has been added to the schedule as a field then use the Totals options at the bottom of the Sorting/Counting tab.

You may also have to specify something in the 'Sort by' field to make the totals work.
