Hi, I am doing a backyard remodel. The site is on a 6" /12" slope. I want to adjust the family I have attatched (downloaded from revitcity) to follow that incline. Is it possible with this family? If not can anyone refer me to a family that will work for me, or suggest a workaround? Any help on this would be wonderful. Thank you so much!

AB

That family has a sloping option... unfortunately it wasn't built properly and doesn't work. Also unfortunately it would take hours to reverse engineer that thing with all the parameters and formulas in there.

You could replicate a similar family and the trick is to have the array follow the slope. It's not as hard as it sounds but if you don't know how to nest a fmaily and array it, you might get lost.

The other workaround I can think of is to make a ramp that is the same slope as your site. This will generate a railing which you can manipulate to look like a picket fence. Just hide the ramp when you are done and you will have the fence at the slope you want.
