Hello All,  I am editing an Elevation tag to add more text. I opened up the head callout family copied one of the labels and gave it a viability parameter and made a family type. When I load it into the elevation mark family and change the family type it moves the family breaking the constant. Anyone have this problem or know whats going on?  I loaded two images and the file if you wanted to take a look. If you are in the file change the head to "Detail Number outside Justified T/B" and you will see the problem.

Revit 15

Thanks,

I seem to have fixed it by deleting that top nested family and added it back again but didn't align and lock it and it works fine.

I don't think there is any need to 'lock' any of the alignments. Just place them and leave them there.

Thanks dgcad I guess it would not need to be locked because its not moving.

Just for knoldege wise do you know why it would be doing that in the first place? If you dont have the time feel free not to awnswer since you already salved my problem.

No idea why it's that way be default. Perhaps we'll stumble upon it at some point . . .
