I am using the "Use Baluster Per Tread On Stairs" feature. while doing so I have said I want 2 balusters per tread. it spaces those balusters 4" apart. IBC says that I cannot have a 4" sphere that can fit through the balusters. up at the top of the edit baluster placement window I have the distance from previous set to a distance that complys with the IBC 4" sphere rule.
is there a way to adjust the spacing when the "Use Baluster Per Tread On Stairs" is checked?

I don't understand. 2 ballusters per tread means you will get an even spacing for the entire length with two ballusters / tread. It will not be an uneven spacing. The 'distance from previous' is ignored when using the balluster / tread.

I was just doing the math and figured that I cannot get what I want to achieve. I have a (2) 2" wide balusters on a 12" tread. I would need them to be slightly bigger than 2" to achieve the IBC requirement.
