My collegues and I have started experiencing a revit problem with the main ribbon. Every so often the ribbon greys out (see screenshot attached).
I can synchronise and save my model but I can't select anything from the ribbon, tabs or toolbar. When I close the file and revit and reopen them both, the ribbon behaves as normal.
We believe it may have something to do with rendering? It seems to occur after we have been rendering extensively in revit.
Has anyone else experienced this before?

We see that on occasion too after we do something that is intensive but we can't pin-point the problem. Might be hardware - maybe graphics card, may be program. It doesn't happen on any regular basis so we simply save then restart Revit.
