Hello all, I am having difficulty achieving something in revit and would appreciate some help.
The scenario:
I have a large project that include an architectural model and a furniture model. I have designed a Room Tag that includes various 'Labels' that pick up on the project shared parameters and this has formed our Room Data Sheets for over 700 rooms and has been really successful, these sheets are hosted in the architectural model.
The contractor has asked that these form part of the Works Information, so are important to our project. They have then asked for us to include the furniture hosted (esentially a schedule) for each room and what catagory they are. The catagories relate to who supplies and who fits the furniture, and the count.
I have tried various ways of including this and am reluctant to add 700+ schedules to the project for this information to appear on the RDSheets. My initial thoughts are to add a shared parameter for family name, count, and catagory to the RDSheets, however this has proved unsuccessful. Essentially I want the RDSheets to communicate and report, as it has done with floor finish or occupancy, with the furniture and architecture model. Unfortunately I am missing the communication link to allow the labels in the room tag to to talk to the furniture model.
I would appreciate any help with this.

In order for a room aware family to report its location, the location must be in the same project.
