I have spaces that DO have tags on the drawing.. I also have spaces that do not have tags, (1.png)
As far as I can tell are the same as the space with the tag. (as you can see by the hightlighted info the space DOES have the parametric space tag information )
If I right click the tag and and say "create similar" this happens.. and although it shows the spaces I can not select a single one of them to put a tag on.. Same thing happens if I hit "Space Tag" in annotation bar. (2.png)
Other option.. "Tag by Category" well that only highlights the doors, pipe, etc.. etc.. but not the spaces. They don't even show up under that command. So again I can't tag them. (3.png)
So what am I doing wrong..?
I would think if it was visual settings I wouldnt see the tags in the other spaces, if it were view ranges, ditto..
Whats going on ?

Nope no phases or even worksets.. I deleted all that.
I am working off another engineers MEP File, saving what I can and deleting the rest. I did realize if I created a whole new space it comes with tag and then I can renumber it to match the room number the other tag had.
Think some of this is laziness on the part of the previous designer. Just curious if Im doing something wrong or if its a glitch.

Your using someone else's file.... Do not assume you are not working with phases because phases are in every Revit project.
If you can't tag the space then something is different. Read THIS.

Actually I get that.. I do in an delete all revisions and merge all phases after I have everything the way I want it. In this case though there were no phases. Thanks for the link.
