This may be an asinine question, but how can you find out when an object was added to the project? In a large model I'm discovering some apparently new items, and it would be helpful to know when they were added since they may have undone work related to scheduling, etc. I'm hoping there is a way to use the element ID and find it somewhere with a time stamp indicating when it was created...haven't found much in searching through the usual forums...probably because it is an asinine question, in which case, please forgive me. Thanks.

This question has been around for awhile and so far, I have not seen any good answer. Obviously, you could rollback to various stages of the project and inspect for the item but I don't think you would want to do this. Autodesk might be able to do this as a service.

I see. Good to know I wasn't the only one coming up empty on this. Thanks!
