Hello, I want to make my own section symbol that will allow me to drag the tail to different lengths just like the regular section symbol but without having to spend the time searching for the correct drafting view It would have labels to change sheet and detail numbers. I just want to place a symbol and label it. I need speed and simplicity.
I'm looking for a good tutorial that will show how to do this or a simple description, if this is even possible. Seems like a pretty basic proceedure but I have search all over and cannot findone video on the subject. I'm using revit 15LT. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Why would you want to dummy down Revit?
If you want CAD then use CAD.
