I'm having an issue with the font size in my revision schedule.

The first image attached shows how it appears in my project but the second shows how it appears in the title block family (ie how I want it to look).

I set the font size but double clicking the revision schedule in my title block family and changing the font size to 2mm Roman in the appearance tab on the ribbon (that's our office standard for revision text). As you can see, when the family is then loaded into my project the text increases in size. What is happening and am I doing something wrong?

Also, in our office title block, we have thick lines and thin lines around the border of the title block. I want to be able to print it out as such but if I turn on thick lines then some of the lines in my drawing are showing up as too thick and look out of place. What is the best way of dealing with this?

Complete Revit novice here by the way.

Thick lines.... You should always print with thick lines.  If some lines are too thick, then you have not learned yet how Revit works.

Read this and this and watch this .

Regarding your titleblock font size, this size is set through the drop-down for the revision schedule in your titleblock family.  See image
