a while back i represented some brace frame locations with a simple filled region. i have since located the frames' elements, and no longer need the 'hatching'. however, i cannot locate/tab through to the outline. if i drag a box over the entire filled region, it will not select it. the only thing i can think of is that i changed the cut plane, would this affect my filled regions. all of them are without a perimeter line and i can select none of them. any assistance/advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Have you tried turning different elements off? Sorry can't be of more help.

I once had something happen to me in very similar fashion, on an earlier release of Revit, 7.0 i think it was, it may have been 6.1. Anyhow, the same thing happened to me, and no matter what I did, I could not get to that filled region, yet it would show in every print. I finally ended up creating a duplicate view, and then copy-paste all the annotations and other detail elements into the new view. I then erased the old view entirely. It was almost as if the old view was "damaged" in some form, and could not be repaired. Anyways, the method I stated above took about 4 seconds, and it solved the issue. Submitted that problem to Autodesk, and never heard back from them...

I found the problem.  Thin lines, used to create the region, had been turned off.
